PRESENTATION SHOWCASE:
PRACTICE, PERFORM, AND REFINE

Learning presentation skills in a workshop is valuable. Applying them under real speaking conditions is transformative. The gap between understanding techniques and using them confidently under pressure is where most professionals get stuck—they know what to do but haven't had the opportunity to practice in a supportive, structured environment.

Presentation Showcase: Practice, Perform, and Refine is an intensive, practice-focused session designed for participants who have completed a Spoken with Authority presentation skills workshop and are ready to demonstrate their newly developed abilities. Each participant delivers a presentation on a topic of their choice or a topic guided by their organization—such as a client pitch, an internal recommendation, a mini CLE, a business development talk, a project update, or any other professional speaking role they're preparing for.

This isn't a lecture or training session—it's a performance opportunity with expert guidance. Participants apply the structuring techniques, engagement strategies, and delivery skills they've learned, then receive immediate, constructive feedback from both the facilitator and their peers. The feedback focuses on what's working well and specific adjustments that will strengthen impact, clarity, and audience engagement.

The result: participants leave with concrete, actionable insights about their presentation strengths, clear direction for continued growth, and the confidence that comes from successfully delivering a polished presentation in front of a supportive professional audience. Organizations develop a shared vocabulary for oral communication excellence and build long-term capacity to support one another in developing oral communication skills.
