If your calendar is packed with meetings that feel unproductive, unfocused, or unnecessary, you’re not alone. Too often, meetings run long, drift off course, or end without clarity on next steps—leaving participants frustrated and momentum stalled.

Meeting on Purpose: Gain Clarity, Align Goals, Drive Action is a practical program designed to help professionals plan and lead meetings that actually move work forward. Participants learn how to define a clear purpose, set intentional agendas, and facilitate discussions that stay focused and productive while guiding groups toward shared understanding, buy-in, and action—whether the meeting is in person, virtual, or hybrid.

This session also equips participants with strategies to regain control when conversations derail, respond effectively when you don’t have an immediate answer, and guide groups toward clear decisions and action items. The result: meetings that feel purposeful, efficient, and aligned—driving clarity, accountability, and progress instead of fatigue.

    • Apply a public-speaking framework to meeting preparation, clarifying your audience, purpose, desired outcomes, and agenda to ensure meetings are focused and productive.

    • Strengthen your effectiveness as a meeting facilitator, using clear structure, confident communication, and intentional presence to guide discussion and maintain momentum.

    • Develop strategies to manage common meeting challenges, including responding when you don’t have an answer, redirecting off-topic discussions, and addressing naysayers or counterproductive participants with confidence and professionalism.

    • Mid-career and seasoned professionals who routinely lead meetings

    • Senior associates, partners, and other law firm leaders
