Lauren Shear is a high-performance coach who brings the mindset and rigor of elite performance from the world of sports to top performers in law, business, and beyond.

Her foundation in collegiate and professional athletics - serving on the coaching staff of an NCAA Division I men’s basketball program and in public relations roles for the Washington Capitals and other sports organizations — taught her what it takes to excel under pressure and lead with presence.

Today, Lauren leverages her background in athletics and communication to partner with top achievers in law and other demanding industries, helping them elevate speaking performance, navigate oral communication and leadership challenges, and unlock their full potential.

  • Whether working with attorneys, executives, or athletes, Lauren blends the discipline of sports with the nuance of executive coaching by bringing empathy, agility,

    and presence to every one-on-one coaching session and group training program in order to meet her clients precisely where they are in the moment so she can guide them to where they want to go. 

    Lauren holds a Master’s Degree in Communication Management from George Washington University, where she focused on organizational communication and leadership development. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Communication from George Washington University. Lauren also earned her certificate in Leadership and Performance Coaching from Brown University School of Professional Studies.
